QUALIBREATH is a chest surrounding, elastic support with integrated handles that helps patients manage breathing pain after surgery in the thoracic cavity, e.g. heart, lung, oesophagus operations or any chest trauma from accidents.
The precise elasticity of +/-10% gives a constant and firm elastic support all around the chest without constricting breathing. The support to the ribs and muscles during the inspiration assist patients achieve a more relaxed breathing. Relaxed breathing helps control the pain and - most likely reduce pain.
2. The handles, totally integrated within the material, enables patients to grasp these for additional support in situations with additional pain, such as when coughing, sneezing, getting in or out of bed or moving around.
